	Robert Mittenthal Partner Rob Mittenthal began his career in executive search in 1989, after a two-year stint in a management development program at The Northern Trust Company. Prior to co-founding Roberts & Ryan he was the Chief Operating Officer of one of Chicago's Top Ten search firms. Under his leadership, the firm made Crain's Chicago Business' Executive Search Firm Top Ten List for the first time, and was recognized by Inc. 500 for being one of the fastest growing companies in America. Rob's domain included everything from new business development and training to general management and strategy. He was instrumental in aggressively growing this organization and had complete and overall responsibility for the firm's top practices. Rob has an excellent reputation with industry leaders as a trusted resource for their team building efforts. Now focused on Senior Management, Rob is the architect of the unique value proposition Roberts & Ryan presents for clients - completion and accountability in addition to traditional sourcing and recruitment. He has completed executive searches for all major corporate functions including General Management, IT, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Legal, and HR as well as senior positions specific to the financial services and manufacturing industries. Most recently, Rob has helped the firm develop a solid reputation within the investment management industry in addition to the private equity community. Born and raised in Chicago, Rob is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. He currently resides in Glen Ellyn, Illinois with his wife and their three daughters. He is an active member in a variety of business, community, and Asian American organizations, and is an avid Cubs fan and golfer, resulting in a heavy dependency on antacids.
